Each year I try to add to my “Faith In The Field” series. This year as I was working on them, my mother, who now lives with dementia and talks more about her past than anything else, asked what I was working on. When I told her I was working on my cotton fields, she told me a story of when her father (who she lovingly calls “POP”) planted a cotton field. She described it as a “SEA Of White”. So in honor of my mom, I’m dedicating this year to her dad. Please Enjoy… “POP’S FIELDS”. I think this may be the most meaningful work I have done so far.
